Why Armenia is Special to Steve Jobs?

Steve Jobs was the chairman, chief executive officer and a co-founder of Apple Inc., Chairman and majority shareholder of Pixar, a member of The Walt Disney Company's board of directors following its acquisition of Pixar, and the founder, chairman, and CEO of NeXT.

His biological parents Joanne Schieble (American) and Abdulfattah Jandali ( Syrian Muslim) was both students in the University of Wisconsin at Madison. They were unmarried that time and having struggles in interracial relationship, then on 1954 Joanne got pregnant by accident.

Joanne decided to go in San Francisco California to hide the baby to her family and gave him up for adoption. Then on February 24, 1955 Steve Paul Jobs was born and adopted by American-Armenian couple named Paul Jobs and Clara Hogopian.

Claire hogopian played a very big role in bringing up the genius Steve Jobs and loving the culture and history of the Armenian people.

In fact, when he visited the Turky and went to Istanbul his tour guide Asil Turcer said: with respect to Apple Inc.'s founder, the late Steve Jobs visit to Turkey, caused great uproar in the country. He also claimed that Jobs considered the Turks as enemies, and he did not even shake hands when giving farewell to the tour guide.

He also said that when they had approached the Hagia Sophia, in Istanbul, and he had told that it was a church at first but then it was turned into a mosque, then Steve Jobs had asked: You Muslims, what did you do to many Christians? you subjected1.5 Armenians to genocide. Tell us, how did it happen?

What do you think of this? Do you think it will affect the Armenian technology in the future even though Steve Jobs is already gone?
