Itinerary:

DAY 1 - Arrival and City Tour

After your arrival at Zvartnots International Airport, you will be transferred to the apartment in Yerevan City near Republic Square.
On your first day, you will have a City Tour in Yerevan City. You will visit the Republic Square, The old Opera, Cascade Open Museum and Souvenir Shops in Vernissage.

Day 2 - Village of Garni

You will have 1-hour drive from Yerevan City to the Village of Garni.
Our First stop is Charent's Arc where you can see the biblical mountains of Ararat.
Village of Garni is our next stop, well known for it's Garni Temple. The temple is Greco-Roman Architecture and estimated construction completion in 77 AD.
The trip will lead us in the Symphony of Stones. This is a rock formation that can only be found in Armenia. To reach the location we have to walk for 15 mins to go down in Azat River where we can see the rock formation.
The tour will continue to Garni Geghard. This unique monastery is carved into nearby rocks and the surrounding cliffs compose a great part of it and it became a UNESCO heritage site in the year of 2000.

Day 3 - Village of Garni

This day will start with a 1.5-hour drive to Lake Sevan. The lake is the largest body of water in Armenia with the are of 1,242 km².
On the same location, you go up in the Sevanavank Monastery with 250 steps from the road. The monastery was founded in 874 by Princess Mariam, the daughter of Ashot I.
The trip will continue to the mountain of Tsaghkadzor. The mountain is famous for its ski resort. You will take the ropeway to go on top of the mountain with an elevation of 2319 m.
From the ropeway station, you will have 15 minutes ride to go to Kecharis Monastery. This is a medieval Armenian monastic complex dating back to the 11th to 13th centuries

Day 4 - Khor Virap

The tour will start in the ruins of Zvartnots Temple 45 mins from Republic Square. The temple was built from 643 - 652
The tour will continue to 1 hr drive heading to Khor Virap an Armenian Monastery in the border of Turkey and Armenia. From the Monastery, you will be able to see the biblical mount Ararat up close. This is the closest area to the mountain.
Another 1 hr drive heading to Areni Cave and Areni Winery.

Day 5 - Khor Virap

The day tour will start with 30 mins drive heading to Saghmosavank Monastery one of the preserved Monastery in Armenia.
Nearby 15 mins drive you will visit the 2nd old Monastery in the village called Hovhnavank.
The tour will lead us in the Armenian giant Alphabet about 30 mins drive from the Monastery.
From the Alphabet of Armenia, we will drive up to the hill of mount Aragats and stop in the Amberd Fortress a 7th-century fortress located 2,300 meters above sea level.
After visiting the Amberd Fortress we will continue drive heading on top of the mountain of Aragats with the elevation of 4090 m above sea level. As per the locals, there is part of the mountain where the gravity is not working right.
