Where is Armenia?

Armenia is a country in South Caucasus region of Eurasia. Located in West Asia on the Armenian Highland, it is bordered by Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north and Azerbaijan to the East. It is a landlocked country, meaning it has no access to the oceans. Therefore it has plenty of big mountains including the Mount Aragats with the highest point of 13,435 ft (4,095m). The famous Mount Ararat which was historical part of Armenia and the symbol of the country, is also clearly visible from Most of the Cities in Armenia.
To visit Armenia is just a short trip from countries in UAE and Middle East. All flights from this country is about 2 to 3 hours. Visa is not a problem in this country, you can pay it online or upon arrival in the airport. Visa for no longer than 21 days is only 3,000 AMD ($6 to $7) and for 150 days is only 15,000 AMD ($31 to $32).


The Weather

Winter are quite cold with plenty of snow, with the averaging Temperature of -10 degrees celsius up to -20 degrees Celsius. Tourist can enjoy the skiing, ropeway and other on ice activity in Mount Staghkadzor about 1hr drive from Yerevan city. Summer is not that hot because it’s a dry summer with an averaging temperature of 25 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius.
